Danielle O'Connor Akiyama is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Toronto, Canada. She works primarily in photography, film and installation, exploring the relationship between emotion, memory, and identity. Her work often takes on a surreal quality, as she makes connections between personal experiences, found objects and materials. She has exhibited her work in numerous galleries and festivals around the world, as well as in private collections. Her work has also been featured in numerous publications and is part of the permanent collection of the Art Gallery of Ontario.
